That’s astonishing. They look like Keebler elves. It reminds me of T. E. Hulme’s poem: “Old buildings were scaffolding once, and workmen whistling.” Makes me look forward to the day when as a carver I can dream in slate. Thanks for the inspiring picture.
thanks Jesse, it was a little difficult to photograph the tomb as it was encased in an iron fence which was a shame, but quite a piece of work and kind of cute !
